The fall can be a beautiful time of year with the color of leaves changing, festive decorations, and apple and pumpkin-picking, but it’s not a great time of year for everyone. For allergy sufferers, it can be quite problematic with a runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, and/or itchy eyes. People who have a ragweed/weed allergy really see symptom-worsening during this time of year. Asthma can also flare for those whose asthma flares with their allergies flaring or those who see that a sudden change in weather triggers them. It’s important to seek out preventative treatment prior to a big flare-up that might require very strong medications. We like to get ahead of people’s allergies and asthma with a treatment plan prior to the times of year when they do worse so they can breeze through their worst seasons, that way they don’t have to get very strong medications with a lot of long-term side effects. Make an appointment with us today so we can make sure you do well throughout the entire year!
