The holiday season can be a great time of year with friends, family, fun, and food. A lot of food. While it may be a lot of fun, it’s important to be mindful of food allergies. So much food is passed around at parties and get-togethers and if you are caught up with the festivities, you may not even think about checking to see if that cookie has peanuts in it.
For anyone with food allergies, it is crucial to make sure that your beverages and dishes are allergen-free. Make sure you read labels, even if it’s something you have had before! Companies can change their recipes and you may not even realize that a once safe food may now be a dangerous food for you.
